Olivia's Month of Outfits

I don't even know Olivia Palermo has some show called "The City". The only way I noticed her is from her great style and cute outfits and standing out accessories. Adding to my crush on her closet she is now doing a month of outfits post for Vogue magazine for April and I almost love every single piece. This "City" girl definately has a great eye for fashion. Few of my faves from her outfit collection.

Winner for my necklace giveaway is Prutha from Donotshoeme
Sorry about the quick post, I am still recovering from my Sundays Half Marathon.

The Back-Up plan

Halle is always a stunner! she has impeccable taste and the body to wear anything and everything very well. She is always gorgeous. Look how amazing she looked with out any effort. Just a white sheath which fits her like a glove showing the right amount of skin with a pair of Louboutin's!! She left it to the dress to do all the speaking by keeping the accessories simple with just a gold cuff. Looking so put together which no much effort!! Loving it. Check out my picks on our Back-Up plan.

Splurge or Steal

As soon as the temperature rises, I tend to gravitate towards brightly colored pieces that add an unexpected pop of color to my outfit that will certainly brighten up any day. As soon as I saw this Jimmy Choo clutch, I know how stunning it would look with my breezy white dresses and comfy flats. But to my wallets dismay its quite expensive with a price tag of $795. This ASOS clutch is a great alternative with more appealing price tag of $76(It's on Sale!!!) . Regardless of whether you’re willing to Splurge or Steal, wouldn’t this bright clutch look incredible with a summer dress and flats?

Necklace Giveaway

Let me start by wishing a Very Happy Birthday to Outnet. After a long sleepless night with constant email refreshes every single minute I was lucky enough to nab a pair of Metallic-piped leather Roberto Cavalli Sandals which are originally $850 for $1. Yes I am not sleep deprived. I got it for well $6.00 with tax and shipping. With all the help from my sweet husband who helped me set alarm notification for every single email, being in PST I got my access at 3:45 am. More than I expected just in less than 5 mins, though most of them are gone I still managed to get my size(8). Now just hoping they will fit me well, or else I need to start asking tips for "How to reduce the size of my Foot". I couldn't sleep after that with all the excitement of my purchase.

Now that I am incredibly happy, I am going to spread the happiness to my readers with my pretty necklace Giveaway! This beautifully hanging handmade red bead necklace which is looking no less than a designer piece is generously sent to me for a giveaway by Basic Cravings. Do visit her Blog to see more of her cravings, and her adorable handmade jewellery collection.

Bringing the Sexy Back!

ShopStyle

Though I keep coming across these open back dress quit frequently , I did not think how sexy they are until I saw Demi Moore in this Marchesa dress. Look how Mrs Kutcher nailed it and I am totally sold for the bright fuschia shade of this gorgeous number. As this particular dress is not affordable to most of us I tracked down few pieces that are sexy and simple. These dresses will definitely make you look no less than Hollywood fashionista on your next vacation added you have a great toned back! If not, no worries lets grab the dumbbells and work it out. This trend is hear to stay!

Moods of Spring

Just like every other girl, Spring is my favorite season. I love the springtime which refers to the season, and broadly to idea of rebirth, renewal and in my case regrowth of the closet. I love to add colorful spring dresses whether they are blooming flowers, hanging ruffles or delicate fabrics which are bright, sexy and lady like. These are the few detailed dresses that I will be wearing this spring.

Chain Gang

As much as I love floral prints, delicate fabrics and feminine colors I don't want to look too cute as much as a second grader. I would prefer toughening up my attire by adding simple accessories which will balance by delicate pieces. I don't want to look too masculine either, that is why I love to incorporate few small additions which would make it look like a good balance. Right now I am too overwhelmed by studs and need a bit of change. This is making me turn towards the chains starting for the channel inspired jackets to Anklet pumps and chain headbands. These are the pieces I really want to play with. What's your go to trend to make it look Androgynous? Studs or chains?
